As far as my Spanish goes...that is about it, folks!
As promised I am back today with a few Cinco de Mayo cookies. First things first, however! A quick reminder that today is the last day to enter my little contest, you will find the details here. Also, please remember you must check back to see if you are a winner...if the prize is not claimed within 24 hours, I will random draw again! Winner will be announced Tuesday morning!
I am happy to say that I am already 1/3 done with one of my chairs that I showed you last week. I could not wait to find some fabric and get started. I have decided to make them different as opposed to keeping them a pair. I have also done a 180 degree turn from my original plan to keep it "retro", but that's the way I roll! So far I am loving it, but I have to say the hardest part is yet to come!
Now where was I? Oh yeah, Cinco de Mayo cookies. Living in Arizona, Cinco de Mayo is a pretty big deal...not to me personally, but in general! I have to say, I really enjoyed making these cookies. Love all the bright colors! Having said that, I am not at all pleased with the Corona beer bottles...in fact, I was wishing I would have taken another picture, excluding them completely. But I didn't so I have to live with what I got! The cookie is too big and the label is too plain...blechhhh! Anyhoo, here ya go:
Whatcha' think?
There's a skinny girl who lives inside of me that's screaming to get out...I can usually shut her up with cookies!
Can't wait to see how you've redone the chairs! Good for you on getting started. I bought a chair a while back and haven't found any fabric I love yet.
