Ummmm, hello...is this still available? Yep...SOLD! As I was telling the lady that I wanted it, she asked if I saw the dresser in the other room. Nope! Imagine my surprise when I found her brother:
...big boy! I was positively giddy! It is hard to tell by these not so great photos taken with my Iphone, but the drawers have a beautiful curve to them. Love, love, love! Seriously, what
Anyway, I was so excited I did not even think to offer less...I am sure she would have taken it, but I was still happy to get all three pieces for $180. As we were unloading, Ron realized that the mirror was not originally a part of the set. Clearly they had added pieces of wood to attach it to the dresser. It has an old tag on it that says 1949...I think the other pieces are from the 70's.
I am sure that I don't even have to tell you that the redo process has already begun. I plan to refinish this set for Guest room #2.
And while I am showing you fun pieces, how about this cute desk:
For those of you that don't know, my daughter Kelli, is in final phases of purchasing her first house. How exciting is that?! We are trying to talk her into chronicling the remodeling process in a blog...we shall see! Anyhoo, while doing her last "walk through" yesterday, the seller offered up this cute desk for free! She text me a picture asking if she should take it...hell's yeah! I see great potential...do you see it too?! Oh ye, of little faith!
I have cookies to share in the next few days so be sure to stop by!
There's a skinny girl who lives inside of me that's screaming to get out...I can usually shut her up with cookies!
awesome finds!!
