A reveal, a little sneak peek and some fun new cookie cutters!!

I have been working my little heart out...and by working I should say sweating!  This time of year I tend to haul as many projects inside the house as I can to work on.  This season brings us not only high temps, but humidity as well...in other words, it is no longer a "dry heat"!

Sometimes it just cannot be done, there are projects that are just too big to work on inside.  Case in point, this headboard that I refinished for Melissa.  Thankfully, it was an easy one.  You remember the before:

The king size headboard that she picked up off Craigslist for $20.  Easy fix!  I picked up a decorative wood ornament from Home Depot for about $4.  Glued it on and gave the piece a quick coat of primer...since it was a headboard and not a piece of furniture that would get a lot of wear and tear, I decided to skip any sanding!

Instead of using my CommandMax sprayer (which I love, btw), I finally got the nerve to use the air compressor and the inexpensive HVLP spray paint attachment that I purchased from Harbour Freight (about $20), quite a while ago.  Wow...what was I waiting for?!  This puppy really speeds up the process!  I was done in no time at all!

Now you want a little sneak peek?  I am happy to oblige!

I can tell you that the fabric on the left is not true to color...matches the right perfectly in real life?  Stay tuned for the reveal in the near future!

And last but not least...how about some cute, new cookie cutters?  I purchased these from an ETSY seller called Plastics in Print...he will literally put any design to plastic and in this case, cute cookie cutters!

 Whatcha' think...pretty stinkin' cute, huh?!

Well, that's all I have to share today!  Till next time, have a great day!

There's a skinny girl who lives inside of me that's screaming to get out...I can usually shut her up with cookies! Photobucket

You scrapbook, sew, decorate cookies and refurbish furniture AND you do a great job of all of it... What's next girl? Oh why can't we live closer? I want you to teach me... Can't wait to see the next project, whatever it may be.
