These are a no-brainer and since you know that I am armed with an arsenal of Scrabble Tiles, I made a few of these:
Then I made some of these:
Also rejected, but so simple to make, were these little "Joy" ornaments. I purchased the packages of letters at HL, as well as a long piece of wood. I already had the bells, so it was just a matter of painting the letters and hot gluing them to the piece of wood. Coat with glitter, glue the bell on and VOILA! Just a hint...if you want your bell to "jingle", you sort of have to hold the ornament upside down when you glue, otherwise the little bell inside will stick to the hot glue and will no longer make noise. Learned that one the hard way!
Now THESE I made since after the boutique so we will never know how they would have done! This tutorial has floated all over the internet. These were probably the easiest of all and even more simple. Who knew that a clear glass ball, a floor care product and glitter, could make such a bright and cheery ornament.
I love the fact that you can make any color you might want to match your tree! I used the Martha Stewart ultrafine glitters from Michaels...I also purchased my clear ornaments from there because I think they had the best selection. The best part is probably that you get all the "bling" from the glitter, but because the glitter is on the inside, you don't get it everywhere when handling them!
They are fun plain, but I decided to kick it up a notch and add some words using vinyl and my Silhouette.
I also made these little guys after the boutique...yep, my faves by far!
So there you have it...some simple little ornaments that you still have time to make for the tree. Or how fun would it be to give a set as a Hostess gift, Ornament Exchange or even a Secret Santa gift! Whatcha' think?!
I am now busy getting things ready for our Third Annual Cookie Decorating party next week...lots of cookies to be made! Tis the season....

All of these are so cute! I must be living under a rock, though, because I have no idea what you mean by using a floor care product for the glitter ornaments! Now following by email, by the way! :)
