I think this could be...

...the funnest collection that I have done to date!

When Kristina contacted me with a request for a "last minute" 3 dozen order, I was a little skeptical.  That skepticism lasted about a nano second...the minute she said "50's theme", I was all over it.  I told her I could probably fit it in if we kept it to about 4-5 designs...that also did not last long.  I mean who doesn't LOVE the look of the 50's...poodle skirts, pointy glasses, old cars...it doesn't get any more fun than that!

Kristina's grandparents, Ruth and Johnnie, were celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary...yet another reason that there must be cookies!  Kristina's only real request was that she wanted something to reflect the fact that Johnnie had been a Marine...easy peasy!

This is what I came up with:

Whatcha' think...fun, huh?

I don't even think I can pick a favorite...how about YOU?

Can you see why I couldn't stop myself?

And because I thing that ANYONE that is lucky enough to be married for 60 years deserves a little gift of their own...I put together a little gift box for the happy couple"

Thank you, Kristina, for letting me play a small part in your grandparent's celebration!

And of course, a big CONGRATS to Ruth and Johnnie!

Till next time...
