Sooooo, it's no secret I have been a horrible blogger in the last six months! Having said that...even I was SHOCKED to see that I hadn't posted anything since before Halloween! Yikes!!
If I'm being honest, I will tell you that there are a couple of reasons for that! First and foremost, I'm going to blame Instagram! Yep, that's me...pass the buck onto someone else! I'm not going to lie...it's easy, it's super quick, and boom, instant gratification! People "like" your photos and a lot of them will even take it one step further and leave you a nice comment!
Reason #2...it has been easy to lose interest over the years with my blog because I don't feel I get a lot of "traffic"...therefore very few comments! And let's be honest, everyone likes to hear a little feedback once in a while! I know a large part of that is because I don't have advertising on my blog, but that's just because I have never taken the time and effort into doing so! I started this blog to share my passion for cookies and an occasional "re-do" project!
I guess what I am really trying to say is that I feel like I may be blogging for a small handful of people...if there is even that many anymore!
I have recently joined Facebook (collective gasp) and there again, it is strictly to share my cookies and other random projects! And you know what else...I can do all my posting at the same time that I post to Instagram! If they added Blogger to that list, this lazy girl would be in seventh Heaven!
So, I guess my question is...do you think I should continue this blog...if so, I would LOVE it if you would take a quick second to leave a comment telling me so!
Okay, still with me?! Let's see what I have been up to the last six months!
Between all the cookie madness, Ron and I built a new dining room table...okay , he built, I did all the finishing work!
So, there you have it! We are up to date!
If you are still "with me", please take a minute to let me know! Or you may want to just follow me on Instagram or Facebook...still Fresh Cut Flours!
Thanks for letting me ramble on!
Oh, I would miss you if you didn't post at all any more. I love seeing all the wonderful cookie designs, and the projects you get into as well. I don't do the instagram or twitter stuff, but I do facebook - so maybe I can find you there.
ReplyDeleteI've not posted much since mid-july when hubby got his diagnosis of cancer - we're still taking things one day at a time.
I love your blog and check it regularly. I don't know your name on Instagram, or Facebook, or I would follow you there. I really love all your cookies and would love to keep following you in some form or another.
ReplyDeleteI love reading your blog, but I am sure facebook or Instagram would be great too!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog! So many that I used to follow have stopped blogging and sometimes I forget to check in on the ones who are still at it.
ReplyDeleteWonderful cookies, as always!!!
I look forward to your posts. Your cookies are adorable and your posts are so up beat they make me smile. I like how much you love your grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteI also make cookies from time to time for family and friends. I have 3 children, so life itself is busy and I try to squeeze some cookies in the mix when I can. I don't use Instagram only Facebook. I will look for you on Facebook.
I love seeing all your amazing cookies. I would miss your Blog if it went away!
ReplyDeleteI love reading your blog and seeing all of your cookie creations!!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog...would like to see more ABC projects too!! ;)
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy seeing what you have created.I follow you through Bloglovin. I'm not on Instagram but would follow you on FB, so if you decide to stop blogging, I'll still keep up with you. I tried blogging and it isn't my 'thing', really, so I understand the time it takes to prepare a post with any regularity.
ReplyDeletewow! you have been busy over the last few months! I sure do think you should keep your blog. And... if you decide NOT to continue blogging, please don't take the blog down.
ReplyDeleteLoving all the cookies--I don't drink coffee but the starbucks cookies made me giggle out loud.
