Halloween Cookies on a Stick and my next ABC Project!

So, this is it...I have a few cookies to decorate to set out on Halloween, but I probably won't get around to taking pictures, so this should be the last Halloween cookies for this year! I made these for my daughter Melissa, who was sticking them in the goodie bags for Thomas' preschool. I just stuck a few in the pot for the pics, but wouldn't they make a cute cookie bouquet?

Now, for a sneak peek at my latest ABC project. I purchased this "little" (it is actually 6 ft. wide and 7 feet tall) beauty off of Craigslist a couple of days ago. I had to laugh at the guy that was at the house when I went to look at it. I said it didn't matter to me what shape it was in as long as it was solid wood because I was going to paint it anyway. He laughed and said that was what his wife was going to do...six years ago! Can you imagine this thing sitting INSIDE your house looking as is?! Oyyyyy!

Ya gotta picture this:

sitting on top of this:

And in case you missed the fine details of the piece:

Not to worry, these are already gone...the double sided mounting tape wasn't all the sticky anymore!

When it is finished it will sit proudly in what I currently call my craft "room"...once this puppy is done, I am kicking it up a notch and calling it my "studio", lol! This will be the finishing piece to my room!

Have a safe and Happy Halloween! Can't wait to show the pics of my little pirate and wench on Monday!!

There's a skinny girl who lives inside of me that's screaming to get out...I can usually shut her up with cookies!

  1. Holy S*&T!! This is freakin' amazing!! What an awesome storage unit. Those pics definitely needed to go, but seriously I can't wait to see what you do with this baby. You have an eye for this stuff, for sure. Can only imagine the amazing crap you'll be able to put inside this baby when you're done with it. Soooo jealous!! Can't to be a visitor at your new STUDIO!! LOL And those cookies - so stinkin' cute! Especially love the pirate skull. No doubt that will be Thomas and Taylor's fave, too. I hope you post pics of the kids so I can see how cute they look in their costumes!!
