Cookies!

Sometimes I forget why I started this blog in the first place. It was originally to showcase all things "cookie", but it seems lately I have strayed a little more than usual. It's not because I have lost interest in baking, because that is definitely not the case...but if I don't have an order or a special occasion to bake for, what's a girl to do? You can only bake for "fun", so much...having cookies in this house is dangerous for all who live here...including myself! I wish I was THAT baker that didn't care to eat her own wares...me, not so much! Because I have such a sweet tooth and because I make such an amazing sugar cookie (just sayin') I don't tire of my own baking...how sick is that?!

Anyhoo, this past week I did have an order for 4 dozen baby bibs that were to be given as shower favors. I can happily say that in my mind, my KopyKake paid for itself on this order alone.  The client wanted the name "Emma" written on each cookie...this little machine made that process a whole lot easier!  Not to mention that all the cookies came out exactly the same...writing on cookies can be a nightmare!

Whatch'a think?  Thanks, Linda...it was fun, I hope everyone enjoyed their cookies!

Because I had leftover dough I decided to make some ribbons in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month...most of these made a trip to Seattle with Kelli.  Hope the girls enjoyed their cookies as well!

Till next time...Happy Baking!

There's a skinny girl who lives inside of me that's screaming to get out...I can usually shut her up with cookies!

  1. Those are very cute! Your writing is perfect, the kopykake is very cool. I know what you mean, if I had your cookies here it would be dangerous for me too. Lets just say, they would not last long. Ive never had your cookies but they look yummy.

  3. The cookies are darling, and I love the uniformity in the writing! Such a cool presentation to have a platter with the name looking all exactly the same. :)
