A bevy of Blocks!

To say that I have been busy this week, is putting it mildly.  I am participating in a Holiday Boutique that Melissa helped organize at Taylor's Preschool.  (If you are local, come by...it is at Kinderbug Preschool on Pecos, between Recker and Power!)  Because I am an overachiever just plain crazy, I decided it would be a good idea to do Christmas Blocks as well as Cookies...needless to say, at this particular moment, I am sick of both!  When I don't see Christmas words dancing in my head, I see cookies...dozens and dozens, of cookies.  This is the first time for this boutique so we really have no idea how it will go!  If all the blocks don't sell, not really a big deal...if the cookies don't sell, much bigger deal.  Cuz' what the heck am I going to do with a bunch of leftover cookies?!

Anyhoo, I have not taken a picture of the cookies yet, so today I will just share the blocks.  I have to say, these are somewhat addicting to make.  Having a miter saw, certainly helps the process!  Give a woman a power tool...

Whatch'a think?

Sorry for the annoying glare, I should have shut the blind before taking the pictures, but didn't even take the time to do it, lol!  "Bah Humbug!" is already sold from what I understand...one of the girls bought it after I left set up last night.

Monday I will post pics of the cookies...wish us luck today!

There's a skinny girl who lives inside of me that's screaming to get out...I can usually shut her up with cookies!

Love the blocks, and if I were there, I'd buy a set of Believe! on the spot, to go with my Santa collection.

  4. Believe is usually my go to Christmas word but I definitely think I'd have to go with your Peace on Earth. Love the way you've stacked it. I predict you sell out.
