Boutique Cookies

As promised, I am back today with a picture of the cookies that I made for the Holiday Boutique. To say that I "over baked" is an understatement. I DID sell quite a few, but ended up with a lot more than that. Don't get me wrong, there was plenty of interest and a lot of people picked up one of my cards, so I don't feel my time was wasted at all! It did not help my cause that the Preschool was having a bake sale of their own, but I knew that going in, so it was no big deal!

I am happy to say that the leftover cookies were not wasted. A good friend of Melissa's (thank you, Jackie!) offered to take them to Sunshine Acres, a local Children's Home...I hope they enjoyed them!  Anyhoo, these are the designs that I made for the boutique...I wanted to make a variety that would appeal to all ages, without going too overboard...haha that!

Whatch'a think?  I think my favorites were the ice cream sundaes and the basketball hoops...of course who doesn't love a cute snowman though, right?!

I am going to finish my Christmas decorating today if it is the last thing that I do...so far behind right now!  Have a great day!

There's a skinny girl who lives inside of me that's screaming to get out...I can usually shut her up with cookies!

Love that!! I will tell you too, from experience, that nursing homes have monthly birthday parties and the one I work with would be thrilled to get something like your cookies!

How'd you do with your blocks? I hope you made a significant dent.

  3. Thank you for thinking of Sunshine Acres and linking to our website in your post! It was a nice surprise to receive such a sweet treat to pass out to the kids in our on-campus school. When they see the cookies they will be thrilled, I'm sure!
