for all those brave soles that ventured out on Black Friday and lived to tell about it! In my opinion you are NOT a true bargain shopper unless you shop the sales the day after Thanksgiving! Thanks to my daughter, Melissa and her friend, Jen...who not only battled the frigid temperatures...that's right it was down to about 30 degrees here in sunny AZ, but did it at about 1:30 A.M. (I didn't make it till a little after 4:00), I am the proud owner of this bad boy!



Seriously, I have not been this excited to fire something up since I bought my new belt sander! I am slightly intimidated though, I am used to my KitchenAid Artisan and this thing is a 600 Professional...how's THAT for scary?! My husband and I are still arguing discussing if this an early Christmas present from him or a business investment from me, but let's be honest...it all comes from the same "bank", right? All I know is that it will not be under the tree...I have too many cookies to make in the next month not to put this baby to work!

Speaking of cookies...here are is my second batch of Christmas ones. How cute are those little "cupcake" snowmen? I cannot take credit for the idea, I found that on the internet, but I thought they were so cute, I HAD to give them a try!





Oh, did I mention that I tweaked my back lifting that KitchenAid onto the counter at Kohl's? Well, I did and now I can barely move, but I have to suck up...I got cookie orders for next week!
