Gettin' you up to speed!

It's been a crazy month!  Not only have I been traveling the world (not really, I haven't been further than Disneyland and Las Vegas...both of which are a 45 minute plane ride away), but I when I was not on the road, I was making cookies like a mad woman!

After Easter it was Teacher Appreciation...I ended up making 21 of these little jewels!

This is about 300 mini apples...yikes!

I also made 3 Teacher gift boxes that were sent to Seattle, using these designs in each!  Thank you SSB for the girly apple inspiration!

Then it was on to Mother's Day...these little designs:

...made up 5 of these total:

Then it was time to do some FUN 60th Birthday cookies.  Love the Ball Jar idea:

"Having a Ball since 1954"...I can't take the credit for the cute idea...but fun, huh?

And last but not least...some fun beachy gift boxes!

That pretty much catches you up for now!

Till next time...happy baking!

Mother's Day is just around the corner...

...how about giving her some cookie "love".

I am offering two different Mother's Day gift boxes.  The hardest part for you, is deciding which one to give!

Perfect for Grandma too!

I have a limited amount of containers for both designs, so don't wait to pre-order your's!

Till next time!

A few Cookies

What is more fun than something Baby, something Bridal, and even something Boxer...love it!

I made these little Baby Girl Mini's for a friend of Kelli's that recently had her baby, Georgia.  I love little "mini" cookies, but I do not love making little "mini" cookies.  To me, they are almost as much work as the big cookies...but sometimes for the sake of "cuteness", you have to sacrifice!

Case in point:

Pretty cute as is, but let's kick it up a notch!

Super cute, right?  And the perfect little "Welcome Baby" gift.  I picked these baby bottle banks up at, of all places, the Dollar Tree (loves me some dollar store).  It held about 2 dozen cookies!

Next, I was asked to make a Bridal Shower gift box.  I love doing bride cookies!  This is what I came up with:

I used the Airbrush and Lace technique for the bra, panties (white on white, so it is very subtle), garter and corset.  Can you tell I love this technique...so simple, yet has a lot of "wow" factor.  I also airbrushed a chevron background done white on white, on the two cookies below.

All boxed up:

I'm sure you are not surprised to know that I forgot to take a "final" picture, but it was all tied together with a pretty blue satin ribbon!

And last, but not least...I will share a little Boxer love!

I was asked to donate some cookies for a fund raiser event to benefit Boxer Luv Rescue...a charity that is dear to my heart!  You might remember that I have donated cookies for this event in the past...this year I decided to do something a little different.  Since it is a "biker" event, I decided to incorporate the two.  This is what I came up with:

And all packaged up and ready to sell:

So there you have it...my last week's work!

Nothing on the books for this next week, so I may have to play around a little...maybe even out in the garage, who knows!

Till then...

Who wants Easter cookies?

Ha!  I got your attention, right?

I don't typically show any sort of  "specials" on my blog, but I thought these were too cute NOT to share, and if you need a little Easter gift for someone special, this might be just the thing!

For those that follow me on Instagram, you may have seen this yesterday.

This cute little box holds five full size cookies.  There are four Easter eggs that show from each side around the box and one "Peep" on the top.  All cookies are bagged and heat sealed to maintain their freshness.  Tie it all up with a coordinating ribbon and VOILA!

I know that we are weeks away from Easter (it will be here before we know it) but I have a limited amount of these little containers, so don't wait to order.

Whatcha' think?

Till next time!

It's all about the packaging!

There are times when just a few cookies will do...and in that case, it is all about how you present them!

I am a "dollar" anything fanatic...whether it be the Dollar Store, The Dollar Spot (Target), or if I am really feeling cheap thrifty, I go to the .99 Store...I kid, but you get my point!

I picked up some cute little heart shape tins from the Dollar Spot.  As soon as I saw them, I knew what I was going to do with them:

Cookies disguised as candy, anyone?  Two dozen little mini cookies fit perfectly in this tin.

Whatcha' think?  Kinda cute, huh?

Another thing I love is "Pick Your Plum"...if you are not familiar, they send you via email, daily deals.  I absolutely could not resist these cute little window boxes!  They were a bit deeper than I thought, so I put enough "shred" in the box so that the cookies would not flop around.  It would hold two, possibly three cookies really well!

So cute...who doesn't love everything chevron?  There were four different pattens in all!  Love these!

I have a bunch more Valentine's Day cookies to share, but if I am being honest...this whole picture taking thing is taking me a lot more time, with not a lot of great results!  I have to practically tie my own hands to resist the urge to just pick up my Iphone and shoot!

As if that is not bad enough...I have put myself out there with my "plan" to learn to take better pics, so I am sure you are coming to expect...well, better pics!  It's gonna take time, I am sort of a slow learner!

Till next time!

How about some cookies...

...since that was what my blog was originally started for!  I have had some fun orders recently...and a bunch coming up in May, that I can't wait to share with you!

I did a golf gift box for Angela's dad..I love doing the little greens/fairways...so fun!.

Kelli was lucky enough to make a recent trip to London and Paris, she wanted cookies to give to her "team" at work to thank them for helping her out while she was gone.  What says thank you better than "Merci" and the Eiffel Tower?!

One of Kelli's besties, Meredith, recently became a certified nail technician, so we thought cookies were in order for her as well.  I apologize for the glare of the packaging...I forgot to take the pic before putting them in the bags.

Ever heard of Goldilicious?  Well, I had not until I was notified by Corie that she wanted cookies for her daughter's birthday.  Apparently Goldilicious has a unicorn sidekick, no name to my knowledge, so this is what I came up with:

It has been a busy "cookie" time and as I said...I have lots more coming up this month.

I do have to share a little sneak peek of what's to come.  My niece called last weekend to see if I would be interested in an outdoor bench that she was giving to the Goodwill.  All I needed to know was if it was sturdy, I would take care of the rest!  I mean, who passes up something that is "free.99"...not me.  This is what I have to work with:

It is somewhat of a hot mess, but it is one heavy bench and will be well worth my efforts to make it beautiful again!  I probably don't even need to tell you that it is already torn apart.  I was dying to get at this one...I have some really cute ideas for it...stay tuned!

Till next time...

New Baby Boy!

I am going to make this short and "sweet"! This is a little gift box of cookies I made for my bff, Karolyn's, new little grandson! They had to be shipped, I am just hoping they arrived the same way that they left my house...but with the P.O., ya just never know!

Welcome, baby Brenner!

Cookie craziness!

It seems I can go weeks without an order and then, bam....everyone wants cookies at the same time. This is what the last week produced in the way of cookies:

dRE ordered this box for her niece, Lolli for Valentine's Day...that cute little "logo" cookie in the middle was designed by dRE (the uber talented girl that also designed all my blog goodies!) especially for her niece...she sent me the image and I printed on edible paper with edible ink.  Cute, huh?

This box was also ordered by dRE for her Mom...love those sexy little corsets and lovebugs!

My bff, Karolyn, ordered some hearts for her monthly "Wining with Friends" get together (and yes, it THAT kind of wine!  There were 2 dozen in all...hope they enjoyed them!

Next on the list were 6-year old Malia's birthday cookies...how cute are these flowers that her and her Mom designed?  Happy Birthday, Malia!

And last but certainly not least...were these cute little lovebugs on a stick for my Taylor's, Valentine's Day party which is being held today.  She is attaching them to paper hearts that Melissa cut out using her new Cameo.

So...whatch'a think?  Thanks to ALL for letting me share a little cookie "love"!!

Next on my list...Angela's wedding cookies that need to be done by Friday!

I really need my new little grandbaby to come today...Nana is going to be a little busy after that!

Hello.....Kitty's!

Three things can be said about Hello Kitty.  #1, she is timeless...she has been around since prehistoric ages I was a teenager.  #2, she is ageless...she still looks the same after 38 years (now who can say that with a straight face).  And #3...girls of all ages seem to love her!

Ironically, I had two orders at the same time for Hello Kitty cookies!  One order was for a thirteen year old...the other for someone that was turning 30!

At Mom's request, we did a couple of "nerdy" kitty's with glasses!  Whatch'a think?

And equally important...the gift box for Lisa!

Ya gotta love the "cat"!  Enjoy your cookies, girls!!

Two giveaways in one week?

Yep...as promised, I am back with the details for my giveaway celebrating my "300(+) Followers"! Details below...but first I am going to show you a cute little gift box that I made for Corie to give to her friend (THANKS, Corie, I think you are one of my biggest fans!). What says, "Thinking of You" better than cookies, right? Kelli said she thought this might have been my best set yet, and I have to say, I was pretty pleased at how it came out!

Whatch'a think...kind of cute, huh?  See those cute little flowers that are on the bird house and branch...come back next week and I will show you how I made them.  Easy Peasy!  The bird and branch were both hand cut because I did not have a cutter...next time I would do it a little differently and attach the leaves to the branch before baking...they were a complete afterthought on this set
but I still think it turned out cute!

Okay, so I know you have stayed with me this long to hear about the "giveaway", right?  We are going to make it super simple, but first I will show you what is up for grabs.  One box of cookies, like the samples below in the theme of your choice.  (Amount of cookies varies by how big the cookies you have chosen are).  You can have them sent to yourself or surprise a friend...it's up to you but the recipient must live in the U.S.

Now remember, these are just samples...you can pick any theme that I have cutters for (that would be about 450 to choose from)!

Two ways to enter:

1.  Leave a comment on this post and you are entered to win!

2.  If you have left a comment on my blog in the LAST MONTH, leave me a second comment telling me this as well!  Lucky you...you now have two chances to win.

That's it!  To all my daughter's friends who "lurk" but don't leave comments (yep, you know who you are...shame on you!) I expect to see some comments from you this time around!  Contest runs through Friday, July 15th...winner to be drawn and announced on Saturday, July 16th.  I am going to make it easy for you this time...if you leave your email, I will contact you.  If you do not, then I will announce the winner and you must contact me within 24 hours or I will redraw a name (and yes, it has happened in the past!)

Good luck all...have a great weekend and Happy Baking!

Gift Boxes Galore!

Just a quick reminder that Melissa's hair bow special is still going on through July 4th...you can find the details here.  Order now for best selection...a lot of them are one of a kind and duplicates cannot be made!

Hope everyone had a nice Father's Day!  We decided to make it simple so we stayed home to barbecue and swim.  The kid's LOVE the pool...most of the time there is drama involved when it is time to get out!

Here are some gift boxes that I made up for two of my newest customers...Corie and Krystal.  I have to say that this one is probably my favorite gift box so far...it was so fun to make:

Most of these cookies were hand cut because I did not have an actual cookie cutter.  Seriously people, how cute are those crinkle French fries...don't want to toot my own horn, just sayin'.

And for the golf enthusiast:

And last but not least, neck ties:

And here's how they looked all "tied up":

A special thanks to Corie and Krystal...it was a pleasure working with you.  Hope your "Dad's" enjoyed them!
