I remember my first birthday. Well, not really...but it was 54 years ago, YESTERAY! Yep, I am now officially a "Senior Citizen"! Can't wait to take advantage of all those discount perks, lol! The "number" is a hard pill to swallow, but all in all, it was a great birthday! I got some wonderful gifts, including one from my husband, proving that big things DO come in small packages! Thanks to my family for making this milestone, a little easier to accept!
Why am I remembering first birthdays, anyways?...because I recently made some "first birthday" cookies for my bff's grandson, Brecken. He had the cutest little invitations...love the little alligators. Anyhoo, this one was an easy one! I hope they were still fresh enough to eat after traveling from AZ to WA!
Thanks Karolyn, for letting me play a VERY small part in Brecken's first birthday!
It's Tuesday...maybe I will go shopping at Ross, and get that extra 10% off, lol!
There's a skinny girl who lives inside of me that's screaming to get out...I can usually shut her up with cookies!

Miss you . . . .
