Now, I am all about finding new stores to spend my money, but I have to say, this store was open for almost a month before I finally went in. I drove past it a million times...probably because it is right across the street from my nearest Hobby Lobby...but I had no clue as to what kind of a store it was! I am pretty sure my exact words were "What the hell is a "Garden Ridge"? I honestly thought it was a Garden shop, which is not my "thang".
Anyhoo, Melissa and I finally went last week (oh, and Kelli and I went back later that day). We knew the building was big because it used to be a HUGE furniture store...well, this place is nuts! They have everything!
They have rugs:
And more rugs:
We thought any of these might work in Kelli's new house! |
They have pillows in every color:
Bedding:
Artwork...as far as the eye could see:
Cool clocks:
Lamps and lampshades:
Seats of various sizes and shapes:
Holiday:
Stylish dog carriers:
Kitchenware:
And for those that have EVERYTHING...how about a knight in shining armor:
Your own phone booth:
Outhouse: (sorry for the blurrrr)
Gas pump:
Or even this little guy to hold your toilet paper:
Seriously people, I did not even scratch the surface...this place is huge! I was in the store for about 45 minutes and did not see one employee until I checked out! I did however, find this witch walking the aisles:
So the moral of this story...never assume what kind of store it is by it's name!
For those of you located in my area, the Garden Ridge store is located on Greenfield between Baseline and the 60...you can thank me later!
For those elsewhere...check online for locations!
Till next time...happy shopping!
There's a skinny girl who lives inside of me that's screaming to get out...I can usually shut her up with cookies!
