And of course the chairs:
Now, if you were paying attention last week when I showed you the centerpiece box that I built, you may (or may not) have noticed the table it was sitting on.
In all honesty, this project did not come out as planned. I wanted to sand and restain the top, and paint the rest. Which I did, which came out to be a total disaster. Okay, I am resilient, after a few unshed tears and a lot of anxiety, I decided to go with plan B and paint the whole
Anyhoo, this is what it looks like today:
And the little buffet:
And a closeup of the chairs:
Whatcha' think? This style is completely different than anything that I have ever had in my home, but I think it is sort of fun to go outside your comfort zone every once in a while! I am a little sad that it did not turn out as I had planned, but for now, I can live with it! Who knows...I could decide to sell it on Craigslist tomorrow! That's kind of the way that I roll!

I think it's just gorgeous - and I SO hear you about here today - gone tomorrow - that's the beauty of redoing furniture, ( or the curse lol ) we get to change constantly!!!
It is beautiful! The shape of each piece shows up so nice. The white paint gives your project character. I hope you find that you are happy with it because it is oh so pretty now and it was not before you painted it.
that is so cute, I love you light it looks.
I just love the little buffet especially! Tell us what you did with the wire on the doors. Is it painted black now or what :?
Excellent job my friend!! Love, love the new look. Lots of work I am sure, but well worth it. By the way, love the little box you made last week, I may have to copy that idea. :) Diane
love the after Terri! The new (old) set looks fabulous. That little buffet is tooo cute!
I hope you won a bunch of money, if not I hope you had a great time.

Love it! It looks just like the husband's grandmother's set which I would have bought in a heartbeat. However, she already sold it before I knew she was selling her stuff to go to a retirement home! Boo.
