Yet another...

...birthday! Don't get me wrong...having cake for your birthday is nice, but in my opinion (and yes, I am slightly biased) nothing says it better than cookies!  Case in point:

I bought a bunch of these cute Mary Engelbreit tins on clearance from Michaels quite a while ago.  How convenient that they had cookie cutters to match!  I have always loved the bright colors and fun designs of Mary Engelbreit.  These were super simple and I even whipped out my airbrush machine to add a little shading to the leaves...there is a slight learning curve, but practice makes perfect, right?  I also used the airbrush and a stencil I cut with my Silhouette to create the "gingham check" on the middle cookie...love this look!

I think these tins would be darling for Mother's Day, Get Well, or "Just Because" cookies...what do you think?
