Not a lot to share...

...but I did promise a little peek at my progress on the tool box.

As projects go...this one is going pretty fast, but that happy train is about to come to a screeching halt because it is supposed to be 117 degrees here by the end of the week...and that is just too hot to breathe, let alone work in the garage!

Anyhoo, you remember what I started with, right?

She was definitely a little rough around the edges.  Here is just a taste of what she looks like now...

I know...a drawer is not much to share, and I can say that the picture does not really do my efforts justice, but at least you get an idea.  I am using the existing hardware, painted black.  A few of the drawers had been lined with green felt...it was so old that it practically disintegrated as I was removing it.  Now she gets a new black felt liner, cuz' nothing says sexy like black does!

I chose to use Minwax English Chestnut for the stain color and I am finishing them off with Minwax Fast Drying Poly.

Whatcha' think?  I can't wait to get it done...it may even look a little different than you are expecting!

Till next time...
