Another busy week!
I have been working on cookies most of the week...no time to even use a new cutter BUT, I did hand cut some cookies and since this is something that I really despise doing, it's even better than using a new cutter.
I had a request for some Denver Bronco cookies...I found an image online, printed it up on cardstock and laminated it, and then I cute around the image so that I could use it for a template. This is something that I usually avoid doing...the lack of a clean edge when cutting around the template, brings out the OCD in me and makes me crazy. But sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do and roll with it. Here are my Bronco cookies:
Whatcha’ think…not bad for the first time?!
And of course more requests for Seahawk cookies:
Did I mention that I will be rooting for the Broncos…the Seahawks took my Cardinals chance at the playoffs away…I just refuse to root for them! Whoever you are rooting for…have a great Super Bowl weekend!
Till next time!

Pretty sure you're going to burn in hell for that . . . traitor! LOL Love those damn cookies, though, so I guess I'll forgive you. Hopefully God will, too. LMAO Oh I just crack myself up!
I have been reading your blog for over a year now, and decided it's time I say hello and also thank you!
The cookie recipe you shared, plus the beautiful cookies you make, have really inspired me. Last night I made foot-shaped cookies and decorated them with your icing recipe to go along with the "Footprints in the Sand" poem for a church activity. They were a big hit, and everyone kept saying how delicious the cookies were. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for sharing your amazing talents with us!
Not bad? They are PERFECT! I hate hand cutting but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I won't be rooting on either team. I just don't watch football like I used to.
Hey Terri, just wondering if you have made some type change to your blog. For a week now I have not been able to read anything on your posts because the print is teeny tiny. At first I thought it was MY computer but I am not having any problems with other blogs or my computer itself. Help. I miss reading your posts. The pictures come out perfect, just can't read the tiny print.
@FlyAwayHome
HI Lucy- No one else has said anything...I did go onto my laptop (post from my desktop) and look at my blog, but it looked fine. That is so weird that it is showing up tiny on your computer! Do you happen to look at blogs through "Bloglovin"...that happened to me when I was using that feed, so I moved to Feedly.
@Amy
You have made my day! So happy that my little ol' blog has given someone the incentive to give cookie decorating a try! I am also happy that you like my recipe...I believe cookies need to taste even better than they look!
Thanks for stopping by!
