As promised I am back today with a super simple, yet fun project. I did not come up with this on my own, in fact I found them on this blog. Since Taylor is now doing dance, I decided to make her some of these little leg warmers to wear with her tutu's.
The first step was finding some cute women's knee high socks...not so easy. I did find two different prints on the clearance rack for $1 each and although the designs would not have been my first choice, you couldn't beat the price for a first try! Both pairs took me literally 5 minutes TOTAL...so stinkin' easy it was silly. What do you think?
Pretty cute, huh? Since she often wears both black and pink, the socks should go with either.
Of course I couldn't stop there, so yesterday I was on the hunt, for what else, but Christmas socks. JoAnns actually had quite a lot of fun ones on sale for $2.39, but be careful, some of them are crew socks (which would work perfect for babies, btw). So far, I have just done one paiR...she has not tried them on and I want to make sure they are the right length (they could easily be shortened by cutting off more of the sock). Anyhoo, here they are...perfect colors for the red and black tutu my daughter is making her. She will be such a little "Diva".
Thanks for stopping by! I am working on the last Thanksgiving cookies for the year...I will have some to share in the next few days!
Happy Baking!
There's a skinny girl who lives inside of me that's screaming to get out...I can usually shut her up with cookies!

Cute, cute!
Have you ever peeked at the Baby Legs site?

Of course, they're considerably more expensive than do it yourself, but they've got some adorable stuff over there! And they have good sales on occasion.
Very cute and fun.
