Disclaimer: I am not a seamstress, and if I can make these, anyone that has a sewing machine, can make them as well. My mom was a beautiful seamstress, but I have always sort of struggled with the technicalities. Nine times out of ten, I will "revamp" a pattern to make it easier for me to create.
Technically this is called "The Betsy" Dress, I am sure because the creator of the pattern had a little girl named Betsy, but who really knows. I purchased the E-Pattern from ETSY, and I have to say this girl has made a very easy to follow pattern. Lots of pictures for you to go "step-by-step". If you are interested in the ETSY shop that I purchased from, just "Contact Me" and I will pass on the info!
These are for my granddaughter, Taylor. I made them last year and her Mom thought she needed more for the hot summer we have coming. As you can see, I love these "Tutti Fruitti" collections from Joanns! I even started adding pockets...now, why didn't I think of THAT sooner?! Anyhoo, just another "easy peasy" ABC (Anything But Cookies) Project to share!
Now, don't these look super simple?!
There's a skinny girl who lives inside of me that's screaming to get out...I can usually shut her up with cookies!

They look so summery! haha "ABC" is funny to me. I like the cookies =)
My Mom was a fabulous seamtress as well! I did not inherit the gene :( I do have her Singer Featherweight that she used for taking to quilt classes. These little dresses are so bright and festive, you make me want to pull out the featherweight and see if it's true what you say.....if you can do it, anyone can!
What happy dresses! Soooo cute :>)
Those are adorable!!
