Fundraiser Cookies

If you know me at all you know that I loves me some boxers...as in dogs not underwear!  I recently joined the Boxer Luv Rescue of Phoenix as a volunteer.  Simply the best dog out there in my opinion, but I know that we all have our own favorites!

Last weekend the rescue had a "Bikers for Boxers" benefit...and by bikers I mean motorcycles!  ALL the proceeds went to Boxer Luv, which is a 100% donation run organization.  I am happy to say they raised over $12,000, which is great...especially since it is the first time they have done this event.

My small contribution was approximately 120 cookies that were sold...these are the designs that I came up with.

Whatch'a think...kind of cute, huh?

Thanks for stopping by...have a great weekend!

It was a "sports" kind of week!

I had two different occasions to make sports cookies last week.

I did footballs for Thomas' party that was celebrating the end of the season.  If you have never seen a game that involved 5 year old's playing this game, you should really do so!  By far the most exciting kid sport in my opinion!

A friend of Kelli's from UofP also ordered sports themed cookies, only these were for soccer.

Soccer balls tend to be a bit tricky...my Kopykake came in very handy to keep the design consistent!

I will post my Boxer Luv Rescue fundraiser cookies in the next couple of days...till then Happy Baking!

What I've been up to!

It has been a busy week for cookies!

Apparently I have been living under a rock, because I have never heard of Cookie Lee Jewelery until a few weeks ago when Cindy emailed me about wanting to order some cookies for an Open House she was hosting.  I had never heard of them...I guess I was the only one because everyone else that I asked, HAD heard of them.  Anyhoo, she sent me three different images, including the Cookie Lee logo...I made two dozen in all.  I shipped them to Henderson, Nevada...let's just hope they arrived intact!

I also worked on two different nurse sets...the first my Melissa's bff Jaime (shhhhhhh, it's a surprise!)

And another set that Melissa wanted to send to her Labor & Delivery nurse.  (Sorry for the poor quality, this was snapped with my phone and I forgot to take one with my camera).

Now I am working on  footballs (for Thomas' team), a soccer ball order and 100 cookies that I am donating to a Boxer Luv Rescue event.  Busy, busy, busy!

Till next time...happy baking!
